| Non-Detained Consultations | These non-detained consultations are for members with immigration questions. Prior to the scheduled consultation with the attorney, a Novo legal staff person will make contact with the member to complete a basic intake questionnaire and get a fuller understanding of the direct question(s) the member wants answered by the attorney. Time spent during the intake does not count toward the 30-minute consultation time with the attorney. During the actual consultation, the attorney will answer the member’s question. At the end of each consultation, the member will be provided with a quote for services provided by Novo (if Novo provides that service) or a detailed explanation in writing as to what was discussed (sent to the member within 24 hours of the consultation). | All plans |
| Detained Consultations | Detained consultations are designed to help immigrants in immigration detention understand their options for getting out of detention or determining what kind of immigration relief they may be eligible for. There will be no intake completed with a Novo staff person before the call. Instead, the attorney will use time to coordinate with the detention center for a private legal call. The private legal call will last anywhere from 30–45 minutes, depending on the rules of that detention center. During the call, the attorney will assess the detained member’s options for getting out of detention and tell the member what kind of relief from removal they qualify for (if any). | All plans |
| Bond Representation | Due to bandwidth considerations, Novo will only take on one bond representation case per month. Additional cases beyond this ceiling will require special approval from Novo’s leadership team. In a bond representation, Novo Legal works with the detained member, their family, and their sponsor to build as strong of a request for bond as is possible. Novo will then represent the detained member at his or her bond hearing in either Washington or Colorado. | All plans |
| 10% Member Discounts on Full Services | When members are eligible for a service that Novo offers across any of its departments (immigration, criminal defense, family, or civil rights), members from a partner organization are entitled to a 10% discount on the full cost of any flat-fee service. | Basic NonprofitNonprofit PlusEnterprise |
| Novo Navigator | Novo Navigator is a proprietary piece of immigration casework software developed and maintained by Novo Legal group. The software offers users access to a suite of services meant to support them on cases related to naturalization, asylum, work authorization, case tracking, changing address with the courts or USCIS, submitting FOIA requests, as well as tracking their existing filings with USCIS. Access to the varying modules depends on one’s membership access level. Basic Plan: A basic plan allows users to create completed packets for naturalization, study for the naturalization interview, and track their cases with USCIS. It also allows users to make simple motions to change venue. Advanced Plan: An advanced plan gives users access to the full suite of Navigator module services and gives these users first access to cutting-edge modules in development. |

| Monthly Newsletter | At the end of every month, Novo compiles the immigration changes that have gone into effect and describes the changes in detail for partners to understand. We also forecast forthcoming changes on the horizon and provide guidance to partners for how to prepare their members to keep as many people safe as possible. | Basic NonprofitNonprofit PlusEnterprise |
| Workshops | Workshops are only available to Nonprofit Plus and Enterprise partners. In workshops, Novo Legal attorneys and paralegal staff help your members apply for immigration benefits in workshop settings. These are ideal for situations where large volumes of members need to apply for a specific benefit in unison. Novo has handled workshops as small as ten participants over a single day, and workshops as big as 530 participants over the course of a week. Workshops are presently available to help members apply for citizenship, asylum, work permit renewals, raid preparedness, or consultations. | Nonprofit PlusEnterprise |
| Raid Preparedness | Although this offering is functionally a workshop, it is important to single it out as a specific offering given the high probability of workplace immigration enforcement to occur under this Administration. This offering involves preparing members for raid through collecting vital raw data from them ahead of time to determine their existing immigration options right now and their deportation protection routes before they are detained. It also involves staff training on best practices to mitigate harms during a raid. | Enterprise |
| Case Work | Certain consultations regard case processing questions that are easier solved by an experienced attorney rather than by the member. For these quick-fix issues that appear during a consult, Novo attorneys will complete the required legal work on the member’s behalf. (Available only for Enterprise Partners) | Enterprise |
