Jeff List

Jeff, a Colorado native, earned his degree in Economics from DePaul University in Chicago. After a successful career in the Chicago hotel industry, he pursued his law degree at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. As an experienced professor of law and practitioner, Jeff taught U.S. Law in Istanbul, Turkey before returning home to advocate for the rights of the accused. During his time in Istanbul, Jeff even had a cameo appearance in a Turkish film.

Jeff's legal practice focuses on criminal defense and other state-court adjudications, including juvenile matters. He has represented immigrants and community members in criminal courts across Colorado, handling cases ranging from municipal infractions to felony murder trials. He has also worked extensively in cases where clients were charged after investigations by the DEA and Colorado drug task forces, bringing careful trial preparation and immigration-aware strategy to high-stakes prosecutions.
