TYPES OF PROPERTY CRIMES

In Colorado, “property crimes” is a broad term that covers a wide swath of charges, usually non-violent in nature. This includes so-called “white-collar crimes” like embezzlement or fraud, but also includes theft, trespassing, vandalism, burglary, and robbery. The term property can refer to physical property like real estate, land, vehicles or other possessions; it can also mean monetary possessions and intangible property as well.
