    Carmen was born in Veracruz, Mexico, and at the age of 8, she and her family relocated to San Francisco, CA. Growing up in an immigrant community, Carmen personally witnessed and experienced the challenges and adversities faced by immigrant families. Inspired by her hardworking parents and their sacrifices, Carmen developed a strong sense of empathy and dedication to helping others.

    In 1999, Carmen moved to Wenatchee, WA, where she started working with migrant seasonal farmworkers. Witnessing their struggles and fears, she realized there was much more she could do to support the immigrant community. This realization led Carmen to pursue a career in immigration law in 2013, where she has been instrumental in providing hope and guidance to families seeking better lives and opportunities in the United States.

    Outside the office, Carmen cherishes spending quality time with her family, enjoying movie nights, and indulging in her passion for reading.
