    Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Amy discovered her passion for immigration and civil rights law while studying at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. As a dedicated advocate for immigrant rights, Amy has committed her career to providing exceptional legal representation to those in need.

    Graduating magna cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 2015, Amy gained valuable experience working in Washington, D.C., as an Account Coordinator and Account Manager at TaylorMade Experience. Following her passion for law, she returned to Ohio and excelled at Case Western Reserve, obtaining her Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2022, ranking 18th out of 114 in her class. As a Hugo Grotius International Law Scholar, she served as a Senior Editor for the Case Western Reserve University Law Review.

    Amy's strong interest in immigration practice led her to work as a Certified Legal Intern at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic during her last semester. There, she represented clients before USCIS and the BIA, preparing forms for asylum, green cards, work authorizations, and employment-based visas. She also drafted and filed appellate briefs and responses to letters of intent to deny. Amy's legal experience further includes a federal judicial externship with United States Magistrate Judge Stephanie Bowman in the Southern District of Ohio, where she drafted Reports & Recommendations and Orders on pending motions in active civil cases. Additionally, she worked as a law clerk at McCarthy Lebit Crystal Liffman, focusing on various legal issues and court filings.

    Joining the Novo Legal team, Amy brings her passion for immigration and civil rights law to the forefront, dedicated to fighting for the rights and interests of the immigrant community. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading and exploring the outdoors with her beloved dog, Frodo.
