Kenia Duenas was born in Las Varas, Nayarit, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. Growing up in an immigrant household, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating the U.S. immigration system. She is especially grateful to her mother for the sacrifices that made it possible for her to grow up in this country, pursue opportunities, and ultimately give back to her community.
As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, Kenia effectively communicates with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their legal process. She brings compassion, cultural awareness, and strong attention to detail to her work.
Kenia currently works as a Case Manager in the immigration legal field, where she assists with case preparation, client communication, and the organization of supporting evidence. She is passionate about helping families seek safety and stability and is dedicated to making a meaningful impact through her work. Kenia aspires to continue growing within the legal field and expand her impact in immigration advocacy.
Outside of her professional life, Kenia enjoys spending quality time with her family and maintaining a healthy balance between her career and personal life. Her resilience, empathy, and dedication make her a valuable advocate for the communities she serves.
