    Get To Know Jazmin

    Novo Legal Case Manager

Jazmin was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. At the age of 12 she moved to the U.S., not knowing any English, but is proud of the work she’s put in to become bilingual. In 2012, her life changed when she became a DACA Recipient, which allowed her to pursue new opportunities and gave her a profound appreciation for the life-changing aspect of immigration.

She’s always enjoyed working with people and since high school has committed herself to giving back to the community that helped raised her.  Her volunteer experience includes English tutoring at Garrison Night School and serving as a mentor for Friends of Walla Walla. Before starting at Hernandez Immigration Law in 2018, she worked for the Salvation Army, where she looked forward to interacting with clients and bringing smiles to their faces. She brings this dedication to Novo, where she continues to develop strong relationships with clients and helps them succeed in their immigration cases.

Outside of work, she spends most of her time her family of 6, which includes a husband, two daughters, a son, and their dog. They love to play tug of war with each other and run or bike around the park. As a family, they enjoy traveling and look forward to exploring new places.
