logo american immigration lawyers associationWhitney Leeds is an immigration and criminal defense attorney passionate about the rights of immigrants and refugees. She is a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, and while in law school received the Dean’s Scholarship, a full-tuition merit scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. She previously interned with the Colorado State Public Defender System and Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), and learned movement lawyering through the Center for Constitutional Rights as an Ella Baker Intern. Whitney is a member of the steering committee of the Colorado chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, a volunteer attorney mentor with RMIAN, and she trains Legal Observers for the Colorado Rapid Response Network, which organizes teams that respond to ICE raids throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
